At SAMMs, we do not approach these presentations as isolated behaviours or compliance issues. We work from a clinical understanding that complex needs sit across multiple systems and are often driven by underlying neurodevelopmental, trauma-related, and psychosocial factors. Our interventions are designed to stabilise dysregulation, clarify presentation, and create a pathway forward that is clinically sound and practically achievable.

This includes accelerated assessment, formulation, and coordinated care planning, alongside direct intervention. We work in collaboration with psychiatrists, GPs, hospitals, legal partners, and allied providers to ensure participants are not cycling through disconnected services.

SAMMS delivers clinically informed, structured supports for people with complex psychosocial and behavioural needs. We work to a clear framework: stabilisation before capacity. Regulation, safety and containment are addressed first, then we build function, participation and independence.

Where shared experience meets structured change. We deliver structured group-based programs designed to support recovery, build capacity, and strengthen connection. SAMMs Connect brings participants together in clinically informed, trauma-aware spaces, guided by the Stability Before Capacity framework.

Groups are structured to provide a safe, structured environment where individuals can engage alongside others with shared experiences, while maintaining clear boundaries, purpose, and clinical oversight.

SPECIALIST SUPPORT

SOS - Stabilisation, Oversight & Specialist Support

Rapid clinical stabilisation during acute or escalating presentations, activated when risk exceeds routine service capacity. SOS is not a standalone intervention — it is a coordinated response that brings clinical oversight, site collaboration, and immediate containment together.

We work directly with sites and teams to stabilise the presentation, reduce risk, and create a clear, clinically informed plan forward. This includes crisis intervention, on-the-ground consultation, and targeted workforce support to ensure the response is consistent, safe, and sustainable.
